So if you didn’t know, there still are many artists out there making amazing music videos. We think it’s such a shame that many of these videos don’t receive the proper exposure they deserve.

Check out the latest from Arcade Fire. Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains), is beautifully directed by Toronto based Spy Film’s Vincent Morisset. It’s set in the suburbs, and feels like a mash up of a zombie movie, an avant garde fashion show, and a contemporary art film. What more could you ask for in a music video?

Arcade Fire didn’t just make a cool video for all of us to enjoy. They also made it interactive. If you go to the video’s website, you can play the interactive version, where you can dance along with the video. The faster you dance, the faster the people in the video move. So go on, get your zombie on.

So we’ve never seen any of The Black Keys’ videos before, but these three brand spanking new creations from their latest album Brothers are just delightful. Funny and clever. You choose your fave.

Brothers is a little more bluesy than their previous albums. We hear R&B influences and hints of soul, perhaps inspired by their latest collaboration with hip-hop greats Mos Def, Q-Tip, and RZA just to name a few, under the guise Blakroc.

These Akron boys continue to do us Ohio folks proud. So show ‘em some love and buy their latest, Brothers.

We don’t care what the critics say. Vampire Weekend is just plain fun, and sometimes that’s all we’re really asking for in our music. The New York four member band has blown up in the last few years. Influenced by Paul Simon, Talking Heads, traditional African music, reggae, and hip-hop, we find their sound irresistible. Sorry, we can’t help it.

We love their new album, Contra. A great follow up to their 2008 self titled debut. Pick it up at Shake It Records this week and check out the brand new Shepard Fairey mural on the side of the building while you are there.

Here is a brand new video featuring a slew of stars: RZA from the Wu-Tang Clan, Jake Gyllenhaal, Lil’ Jon, and even a Jonas Brother.

Perhaps you haven’t heard of Kid Cudi. Regardless, you need to watch this video right now. We would describe his music as avant-garde, danceable hip-hop. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Kanye West noticed him shortly following the debut of his first mixtape, A Kid Named Cudi. Now on Kanye’s label, he was granted a cameo on Kanye’s 2008 album, 808s & Heartbreak. This should be a sign than we are likely to see more from Cudi.

The song, Day & Night, has a flat, low, loping vibe that catches you, no question.  It’s a good song.  The video directed by So Me however, is brilliant and worth watching twice while really paying attention.
