Her name is Kate Towers and she makes everything by hand in her studio in Portland, Oregon. Her collection is very romantic and girly, with a masculine edge. She incorporates gathers, ruffles, pleats, buttons and pom-pom trim. Her clothes, though influenced by the classicism of turn of the century Europe, have also a hint of the flare and festiveness often found in traditional Latin fashions. We think the way she creates stunningly balanced clothing merging masculine palettes with feminine texture is incredibly sophisticated.  View her line at  www.katetowers.com
