Galliano’s Desert Men 2010

Fashion designer John Galliano pre­sented his most recent show to a packed house. For this col­lec­tion, Men’s Spring 2010, Galliano took his inspi­ra­tion from Napoleon. In true Galliano fash­ion, the show was dra­matic and the­atri­cal, demon­strat­ing his sig­na­ture lay­er­ing of fab­rics, prints, and color. We really dug the Arabian themed looks at the begin­ning of the show which included tur­bans, loose pants, and mil­i­tary detail­ing. All of the acce­sories in this col­lec­tion were fresh, espe­cially the lay­er­ing of belts around the waist and over the model’s tur­bans. Never a bore, Galliano always knows how to have fun with fashion.
