Fashion Designer Kate Towers

We are wild for this designer we just stum­bled upon. Her name is Kate Towers and she makes every­thing by hand in her stu­dio in Portland, Oregon. Her col­lec­tion is very roman­tic and girly, with a mas­cu­line edge. She incor­po­rates gath­ers, ruf­fles, pleats, but­tons and pom-pom trim. Her clothes, though influ­enced by the clas­si­cism of turn of the cen­tury Europe, have also a hint of the flare and fes­tive­ness often found in tra­di­tional Latin fash­ions. We think the way she cre­ates stun­ningly bal­anced cloth­ing merg­ing mas­cu­line palettes with fem­i­nine tex­ture is incred­i­bly sophis­ti­cated.  View her line at  www.katetowers.com
